Delicious brunch & lunch spot in Madison. They were busy on graduation weekend (5/10-5/12), but they sat us quickly and even gave us free house-made donuts for the "wait" (all of 10 minutes). Not a huge inside dining room, but it's not too loud to comfortably have a conversation. Chai and food were delicious and all plates were empty!

Marigold is my favourite to go for breakfast/brunch and I've taken my family there every time they're in town. I've tried a range of breakfast items there, including their breakfast hashes, avocado toast, omelettes, and pancakes. But something I always go back to are their revolving pancakes specials. And being an Indian, I especially love their breakfast potatoes. They're savoury, well seasoned, and well fried. And the cherry on top is their exceptional drinks, especially the coolers. They have an open and bright space, but the seating is a little close contact with other patrons. I recommend going there early as they do not take reservations. The line and wait can get really long depending on the day and time.

Exactly what I was looking for, I got the three grain harvest bowl with the turmeric lemonade and was so pleased. Everything was cooked well, flavor was great, avocado was nicely ripened, just the right amount of greens. Thank you for fueling before getting back on the road, I needed it.

Marigold Kitchen has super yum eats and great friendly service! A creative menu with so many appealing options. Pictured are the french toast and goat cheese mushroom omelette. I'm not a big fan of the potatoes, kinda under seasoned for my taste. Coffee here is the opposite though, always a little too sweet for my liking. Overall would recommend!

Wonderful service and excellent, farm to table food. Only thought is that the potatoes were greasy. They don't deep fry them which is lovely but they need to skillet fry them without so much oil. This can be done by pre boiling cut up potatoes and then using a skillet to finish, as ordered. However the food here is always good

really cute and cozy brunch spot with pretty decorations!! the wait for 3 was about 30ish minutes on a sunday morning. i ordered the lavender white mocha which was UNREAL. the bacon & spinach omelette was mid, i didn't love the sun dried tomato in it and the cheese felt unevenly distributed. the rosemary toast was INCREDIBLE, i need to figure out where else i can get this in madison. the marigold breakfast sandwich was also good but imagine if they subbed out the ciabatta for the rosemary toast tho......... otherwise you order at the front and then seat yourself & they'll bring it out to you!

One of my favorite places for breakfast! Really good fresh & local foods. Cute little spot downtown Madison. Parking is limited, seating is limited & it's counter service. Usually busy & you need to stand in line outside. Once you get the meal it is well worth the wait!

I've been dying to try this super hyped up brunch spot in Madison! I thought it was really good but not the best in the area like many claim. The service was excellent! We ordered at the counter and then found a table for two easily. The food came out in less than 10 minutes piping hot! I ordered the buttermilk pancakes with a side of sausage. The pancakes were not sweet at all, they needed lots of butter and syrup. Not my favorite pancakes but they were decent. The sausage, on the other hand, was incredible! Probably the best sausage I've ever had. My dad ordered the mushroom Gouda omelette with potatoes and it was a great omelette but personally he wasn't a fan of an all mushroom omelette. I tried the potatoes and thought they were great! The ambiance is cute and casual, fun spot!

Marigold Kitchen was absolutely delicious. I had the French toast, which came with fresh berries, maple syrup, slivered almonds, and a berry purée. I rarely finish my food, but I devoured this in minutes. Service was quick and the employees were super friendly. You order and pay at the counter and then grab a seat wherever it's available. The restaurant itself was busy (we went on a Saturday morning around 10 a.m.), but not overwhelmingly so. It was bright and airy and comfortable. I knocked off one star because the price was a little high (about $14 for my French toast), but the quality is still great. I will definitely be returning to Marigold Kitchen in the future.

I had a fantastic first visit to Marigold Kitchen! The food was great, and the service was impeccable. I was immediately greeted by friendly faces and "hellos" from behind the counter. The daily specials were easily displayed on the wall, and there were an assortment of fresh bakes in the glass display at the counter. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and it was one of the best ones I've had in Madison, and their drip coffee was fantastic. While I was paying, the staff member shared that there were free refills on the drip coffee, and to bring up our mug when we were ready for a refill. My only personal complaint was that I did not like the breakfast potatoes ($4.50 for a side order). They were too soft and the red pepper flakes were the dominating flavor. Besides the potatoes, I had a fantastic experience at Marigold, and I can't wait to go back and try another item!
